Who we are

SNI was established in 2016 in Milan by four young Italian specialists in corporate sustainability, human rights and green management. As founders of SNI, Nicolò, Giulio, Martina and Sofia, seek to unite green-collar professionals from all fields, thus encouraging the exchange of experiences and insights that would positively contribute to shaping a more resilient society.

Nicolò Cristoni


Nicolò operates at the intersection of environmental protection and the promotion of human and workers rights.
He possesses deep and wide expertise of supply chain sustainability solutions having assisted a range of blue-chip multinational corporations addressing their global responsible sourcing issues.
Besides, he is currently researching on a number of innovative sustainable development topics such as Circular Economy, Planetary Boundaries, Inclusive Business Models and Grassroots Innovation. Nicolò holds a Master degree in International Law and a Master in Green Management, Energy and CSR (Bocconi University). He is currently pursuing his third Master in Environmental Management at SOAS University of London.

 
 

 
 

Giulio Magni


Giulio has been working in the sustainability sector since 2012 bringing together his passions and the desire to contribute to shaping a better world.
He graduated in Biological Sciences (University of Milan) and holds a Master’s degree in Green Management, Energy and CSR (Bocconi University).
Over the years he has gained experience in sustainability assessments, sustainable strategies development, reporting and communication for multinational corporations. Currently, he’s working in the consultancy team of LifeGate, the leading point of reference in Italy for sustainable development.

 
 

 
 

Sofia Provenzano


Sofia has worked in the field of environmental sustainability since 2012.
To date, she has been working in the sustainability team of Bureau Veritas Italia as coordinator for biofuel and bioliquid certification schemes and environmental labels. Sofia combines in-depth insight in science with solid understanding and passion for sustainability.
She has worked with various multinational companies, has supported clients in applying environmental ISO standards and legislation, including the Renewable Energy Directive and the EUETS. She earned a Ph.D in agricultural science from University of Turin and Vrije University of Amsterdam where she wrote or co-wrote publications for scientific journals and participated and presented at conferences and seminars.
She holds a MS in plant biotechnology and a Master Degree in Green Management, Energy and CSR (Bocconi University).

 
 

 
 

Martina Rogato


Martina holds a Master Degree in International Relations (Luiss University) and a Master in Green Management, Energy and CSR (Bocconi University).
In 2012 she starts working as a Sustainability Consultant, with a specialization in sustainability strategies, strategic philanthropy, reporting and supply chain.
From 2009, she supports the advocacy and campaigning activities of an International NGOs focused on business and human rights. She currently works as a Sustainability Freelance Consultant, also writing on sustainability topics for specialized magazines. From 2016 she becomes President of a non-profit organization in the field of women empowerment.
